Students are not expected to purchase a brailler but are required to have access to a brailler for the entire semester.

Students should inquire about loaners from a local resource, agency or individual. New Generation Brailler and Jumbo Brailler cannot be used. Most students will use less than half a ream of braille paper in the Braille I course. Students may split the purchase of a ream of paper with one or two other students.

Course Description This fourth and last course in the Unified English Braille program is designed for the student to learn advanced code techniques in Unified English Braille as it is applied to a variety of less common and irregular print forms, concepts, and formats encountered in classroom braille reading and writing. Prerequisites Successful completion of Braille Level 3 or equivalent.

Candidates must register for the AQ separately.
