These temporary files are created by Windows. Temporary files are created when a Windows Session is terminated in an irregular way. By deleting those unnecessary temporary files, you can increase disk space and the performance of your system.
The Disk Cleanup utility will clean up unnecessary files on your system. What are temporary files? Temporary files are used by your system to store data while running programs or creating permanent files, such as Word documents or Excel spreadsheets. In the event that information is lost, your system can use temporary files to recover data. To delete temporary files using the Disk Cleanup utility: Right-click the system drive, and then select Properties.

You may have to click Continue or Skip , or otherwise verify that you want to remove read-only protection from this folder, before continuing.
Click OK. It's at the bottom of the window. You can now proceed with deleting the Temp folder's contents. Double-click the Temp folder to open it in Windows Explorer. Select all of the folder's files. However when I perform a system clean-up using Advanced System Care I typically find junk files, which I presume are actually the temporary internet files. Why can't I access these files. On occasion I have downloaded a file and not found the file in my downloads directory.
In Windows XP I would search for and find the file in the temporary internet files folder. Hovsep A do you have the same problem when using another browser and downloading files?
